I was very impressed when I saw that the first ingredient in this dog food was salmon. Salmon meal followed, and then various herbal ingredients and additional supplements. It's not cheap food, but I just paid more than double the price for a prescription diet. You get what you pay for and quality food doesn't come cheap. But do my dogs like it? Yes, I would say both Storm and Vizer liked it. He has smaller kibble that both dogs can eat. The protein content is moderate, 23.50%, with excellent protein sources. I would say that this food is suitable for both moderately active dogs and seniors. The protein content is such that it does not put a strain on the kidneys. Highly recommend this meal!
