Review on Intel 2 83GHz Desktop Processor EU80570PJ0736M by Micha Poklkowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

A Pentium 4 630 HT processor that came before it. It became better after I overclocked it to 3.6 GHz, but not by a significant amount. I made the decision to get a brand new core i3 or i5 type. However, because of this, a new socket had to be installed underneath them, which meant that I would also need to purchase a new motherboard. The Core 2 Duo E8400 offered a relatively painless upgrade, with performance that is only somewhat inferior to that of the i3 but still compatible with the previous socket. When the games started moving quickly, even though I believe that what I had was sufficient, in the future I will make sure to get a motherboard as well as an i3 or i5 processor.

Pros
  • It rarely heats up to much than 50 degrees under load because it is paired with a reliable cooler. Accelerates satisfactorily up to 3.6 GHz (we did not test it beyond this point). Extremely, extremely quick! Saves energy. There are too many things to list them all. This central processing unit (CPU) for LGA 775 is almost certainly the best one available, excluding, of course, those with four cores.
Cons
  • ancient socket. There is no opportunity for future technological advancement. Overpriced (If you look at the price of the E8600, you'll see that you can get an i3 with a motherboard for the same amount of money, and you'll also get a method to upgrade to an i5 or an i7 later on.)
