Wanted a DAC/amp combo due to lack of space on my desk and found that right out of the box, powered from my desktop via USB, everything sounded good including my headphones are HD6xx 300ohms . I set it to 40-45 on the volume control, which is louder than normal headphone listening. I have no complaints about this device.
