These socks save me. I have venous insufficiency, so my legs and feet swell a lot. As long as I put them on in the morning, the swelling is minimal and reduces the need for diuretics. They are quite tight but I can put them on and take them off myself which is very important. I am disabled due to a number of issues including broken arms and injuries to both shoulders so I only use 60% of both but there is usually no one around to help me put my socks on or off so it was a real one thing to find them blessings. After a while they stretch, but it seems normal. They are not that expensive, so there will be no problems when replacing them. I wear them instead of regular socks so it's not a big deal. I've never tumble dried them, preferring to air dry them.
