I have this for my automatic tailgate. Why did I get it because when I went to get groceries the clerk tried to help me and closed the trunk for me. I have a button on the tailgate that needs to be pushed to close it, but if you're unfamiliar with this style of trunk then it's not exactly noticeable. So to avoid damaging my trunk's hydraulic system I bought a sticker - actually I was surprised to get four, but I guess that's because it's for car doors too. That helped. I tried to place it as close as possible to the button at eye level so someone can see if someone tries to manually close the trunk. Now I'm teaching my friend this little trick.
