It's your brain, don't be cheap.
The Smith helmet is great. MIPS is required and the cooling system works well. No hassle with the straps, easy adjustment and they stay in place. The glasses/lens case works well and fits well when they are on. Air ducts to reduce lens sweat seem to do the trick.
