Heavy, excellent quality and the base plate is absolutely non-slip on our smooth wooden floors. They would definitely not move on carpets. No more knocking on the door, which used to startle my wife since we take advantage of the cool San Francisco Bay Area night air to bring the temperature down and are tired of propping up doors with open trash cans, books, and small weights.
