Review on Perforated Leather Carbon Steering Hand Stitch by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks good after installation, but definitely not easy to install

I hope it holds up well. Took me 2.5 hours to install, it turned out good but not perfect. It must be sewn onto the steering wheel by hand, which requires a lot of patience. I made mine in sections on my model x. I didn't use self-adhesive tape, just sewed each section individually and tucked the ends into the plastic steering wheel cover with the tool provided. He has little wrinkles that will probably go away on their own.

Pros
  • 1. This hand-sewn steering wheel cover has a stronger adhesion to the steering wheel and is not easy to fall off. You can also enjoy DIY sewing without removing the steering wheel to install as shown in the video below, but it required extra patience to sew the film.
