I originally bought this because my hatchback doesn't have a trunk and I just wanted to leave stuff in the back of the car that just pops out when I'm not at home (hiking gear etc.) . Also, once a week, I and my partner drive 5 hours round trip between two cities (well, one of them isn't actually a city). We've used this to stash and cover camping gear, store extra jackets/blankets, and store liquids. and tools. It's also very easy to fold luggage/linen and we can secure it with zip ties and organize the various products, laptops, packages and targeted orders that we ship back and forth. The handles make it easy to carry more and cycle up and down 4 flights of stairs. I ever expected.
