The reason is only three stars. First let me say that the tank looks great and does what I wanted which was to decorate the engine bay. The factory expansion tank is a real thorn in the side, Ford should have thought better about it. I opened the box and looked for installation instructions. IT WAS NONE! I found an installation video on the internet and watched it. It's not that difficult, it took about 45 minutes to install. The factory clamps suck and I'm glad they put the worm gear clamps in the kit. I destroyed the factory clamps by removing them. The factory cover is reused. It doesn't hold up well, very tight, I had to use an oil filter wrench to unscrew it. Halfway through I thought I mixed up the threads. I took it off and screwed it back onto the old tank and it worked. Strange? The cap is very tight, not sure if I went, I could remove it without an oil filter wrench. When I poured liquid from the old tank into the new one, it turned out that it wasn't enough. So I had to buy Dex Cool. Again, I want them to give direction. Update added photos. I really like how it looks under the hood. Much better than that plastic thing.
