Comfortable fit. I've seen some reviews say they were a little tight but that wasn't my experience, they only seem to fit the sides of the foot and have a tongue wide enough for me to see that's the intention was. The foam rubber insoles look like they're built to last, but are still soft enough to be comfortable. The rubber outsole feels heavier than a regular running shoe, but not too heavy, just enough for a comfortable presence. What I really like is the style. It can be a bit hard to tell on the product page, but unlike many similarly styled sneakers like the Nike Air Force One, this isn't a big, puffy shoe. They don't have the tons of insulation and over-thickness that many do, they fit like a good tennis shoe and don't feel bulky. They're surprisingly flexible for a leather shoe and don't feel too stiff straight out of the box, but do need a bit of breaking in. Really everything I wanted. If you want retro sneakers and remember what they looked like in the 80s/90s, you will fall in love.
