Heats water quickly on counter top induction unit.I love the way it cooks soup. It heats evenly.I've only had it a week. I have used it only a few times.I don't know how well the enamel coating will hold up.My wife is not a big fan. She doesn't usually do the cooking, and she doesn't like to handle it because it is so heavy.I will update if the finish doesn't hold up.I bought used, good condition. It was still packed in it's original Styrofoam packing in perfect condition.I expect to use it where raw cast iron is not appropiate.
