I have a 2WD Ford Ranger. I don't have a locker installed. I put on some BFGs and felt like I could hit the mountain. I had dreams of driving and seeing Yosemite in the snow and on December 23rd I loaded up the Ranger and drove off. We stopped in Oakhurst and went grocery shopping and it took a long time to raise a storm as we headed to the park. I had never ridden in snow, and a few miles up the road from Oakhurst it was snowing heavily. For the practicality of the chain received 10/10. The leashes and hooks are very visible and relatively easy to access on the inside. I've never chained a car so it wasn't fast at all but luckily we figured it out. Heavy snow was falling as we neared the park entrance along Wawona Road. Thanks to the combination of new all-terrain tires and chains, I was on the safe side. It was a very long drive from Oakhurst to our cabin in the park, and I kept the boost the whole way. I rode them 5 days and 4 nights and had almost no loss of traction going up and down inclines and park roads completely covered in ice for several days. I'm very thankful I had them as chain requirements were high the entire time I was in Yosemite. After the ride I noticed superficial rust on the rings and maybe some rings were missing. However, they are reusable and I will save them for my next snow trip. Very well made and easy to use. They protected me and kept me from slipping off those windy horrible roads in the park and that's all I can ask for. I would buy this product again.
