If your cabinet is just under 14 inches, it won't fit - it takes up all the standard 14 inches. We have very few complaints - for the most part we are very satisfied. Only lasted a month. Let's see how long this lasts. Okay, I'm editing this to add: It's now August 18th. I bought a microwave on February 11th. a month or so. This is a family of two adults, one of whom leaves every two weeks - this microwave is used every day but not all the children are still at home. Funny how it looks like a ten year old microwave in the store. At least it still works, but I'm reducing my stars from five to three.
