🍴 Frigidaire 2.2 Cu. Ft. White Countertop Microwave: Convenient and Efficient Cooking Companion Review

So far this has been a great microwave, just a little bigger than we needed. It fits on top of the shelf we built for the microwave so that's a plus. The inside is big enough for a pot!

The unit I received is 14 inches high, 24 inches wide and 20-1/4 inches deep. My shelf is only 17-1/2" so I wasn't expecting the overhang to be 2-3/4". If the door is closed carelessly, it appears to be closed, but the light does not go out and the keypad does not work. I have to close the door "hard" for the lights and keypad to work. This appliance is a replacement for another Frigidaire microwave oven purchased 6 years ago. The control panel is very similar to my wife who doesn't like change. The old unit buzzed after closing the door, so I called customer service. I was told that they do not provide spare parts for microwaves and it is better to replace the unit. Wow. If your cabinet is just under 14 inches, it won't fit - it takes up all the standard 14 inches. We have very few complaints - for the most part we are very satisfied. Only lasted a month. This product was recommended to us by a friend but it turned out to be the worst we have ever used. Firstly the package was delivered by a DAMAGED UPS, a huge hole in the package as if it had been dropped and kicked on the way. SO heavy stuff and despite concerns about OBVIOUS DAMAGES from UPS we DID NOT bother sending it back so we tried using it after ONE WEEK < INTERNAL DAMAGE INDICATED.
