Fits modern MTB handlebars and produces a loud "chime". For years I persuaded myself to buy a bell to avoid unexpected encounters with hikers and cyclists. I feel stupid for not doing this sooner. So 5 stars for the main purpose of this call. Use the lever and it will start ringing. It's pretty loud, compact and works. And while it works pretty well, I wasn't expecting the reliable effect it would have on other people. People have this Pavlovian need to get out of the way when they hear that thing. A phone call is a polite way of alerting others to your approach. However, when people hear the ringing, their immediate reaction is to give in to the ringtone. Everyone just gets out of the way. That's great. However, it makes me feel a little guilty because everyone has the same right on the trail. I thought about tossing people a treat for a while, but then decided it would be easier to express my sincere gratitude as I walked by. It's less embarrassing, but still a good way to positively reinforce their behavior. Conclusion: This is a good call! . You are a very good call.
