Rescue tool, saved me a headache!

Lifeguard! I am now assembling my e-bike and would like to use as many original parts as possible. My rear motor/wheel hub kit includes a chain cassette that I needed this tool for. After 2 days of stress trying to figure out how to remove the freehub cassette without special tools, I finally gave up and ordered this tool. Thank God. But even with a tool, you can't just use a wrench and think you're going to use your strength to unscrew it. With months and years of cycling, they get tighter and take a lot of effort to loosen. So as you can see in the picture I got creative and said what I need most is to remove the nut/bolt. The strongest I've ever had is a tire lever that fits right on the tool, not with a socket. The next trick was finding the right lever to actually loosen the screw, so I placed the tire next to a chair that was the same height as the tire and then sat on the chair and the tire at the same time and spun so. That way the tire didn't spin and I was able to loosen the screw. Now that my rear motor hub is arriving, I can easily swap out my Shimano cassette for the one that came with the kit.

Pros
  • ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿšฒ๐ŸšฒMaterial: The mountain bike disassembly tool is made of carbon steel, which makes the ratchet and bottom bracket disassembly tool parts strong and durable. Heat treated alloy steel construction ensures long service life.
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
