The light of my courtyard.

If you're a Geeni fan like me, you'll want to add this light to your home. It connects like the other products from Geeni or Mekury Innovations. At night the light is very bright and you have the option to turn it on on a schedule or turn it on when you move. You also have more options for how long it stays on. It takes up to 32GB on a micro SD and works much like a dashcam, overwriting an old clip while continuously recording. Real-time traffic depends on your Wi-Fi connection. It is not affiliated with the service and does not require a subscription. It has a beep that you can activate. Poorly. The light comes with only a metal backplate for mounting, which leaves the junction box exposed to the elements. I suggest buying an all weather junction box cover and drilling holes for the rod to be mounted. Also, the lamp itself is on a stand and is fixed with 3 screws, which is good and bad. It's a shame, because if you use an all-weather pad, you can hardly see the screw holes on the base plate. Note: If you are adding an all-weather baseplate, you must purchase 3mm screws that are at least 1/2 inch long. Today is day one so if anything changes I'll let you know.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
