Review on VECLESUS VM1 HD 1080P Backup Camera Kit: High Definition Reversing System for Cars, Trucks, and SUVs by Vedavyas Fleming

It works out! In Car Backup Cameras

I have a Mini Cooper Convertible that has terrible rear visibility with the roof down and huge blind spots when the roof is down. This is compounded by the fact that my other car has a rear camera, so I really feel 'dazzled' in the Mini. I have reviewed/researched many options on Revain and am happy with my choice. I almost settled on a system that uses my iPhone for the screen, but I read about "latencies" or working with a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection and knew I'd be unhappy with any delay. This system provides immediate rear visibility. Image is clear, night lights help but I think for night driving it will be ok with my reversing lights. The light is on; works perfectly. The only installation problem was routing the cable from the camera through the wiring harness that ran from the tailgate to the trunk. It was very tight and took about an hour to get the wire through a foot of rubber, but it worked. Running the cable from the camera to the screen wasn't a big deal and it was worth getting a rear view. Also, one wire supplies power to the shield, so only one wire goes to the shield. I had a phone holder that fits in the CD player slot which is great for holding the rear screen. The camera looks solid, the rear screen less so. I'd happily pay more for a longer-lasting screen (which only costs about $80). But when the screen holds up I'm totally satisfied, now I can see behind me.
