A little less than 12 inches below the best concrete chisels

It's not 12 inches for starters. I measured 11 inches. Also very disappointed to see the impact side expand. This means you have to hit the middle, but it still gives you room to make mistakes and goes easy on your hard a bit. Otherwise, it's a solid piece of metal with a comfortable grip. For the price, it's great for a do-it-yourselfer. stays in the store for a long time.

Pros

The handguard pad has a comfortable grip and a large plate that can protect your hand from injury when hitting a hammer the wrong way. The soft material can absorb hammer blows.
