---Update: I bought a separate trim remover kit. I followed the instructions but the screw in my grip wouldn't come out when loosening it, so I had to remove the pad on the right side of the grip and unscrew that bolt as well. With the entire handle off I tried installing the cup holder on the right side to see if it would fit. There were extra plastic fins on the right side that I cut off with a knife. Unfortunately, the cup holder's back plate interferes with the decorative lid. So I installed the cup holder in the right spot on the left. It seems a little thin, but it could hold a phone and a bottle. --- Old tip: when trying to remove the overlay, the tool that came with it broke. No problem, I told myself. "I still have the other end of the tool." No, that end is broken too. Therefore, I can't test this article until the company sends me another removal tool or I buy it from another vendor and try again.
