Review on Bucilla Candy Express Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit, 18-Inch (86147): Enhance Your Holiday Decor by Barbara Simmons

I've been sewing Bucilla Christmas stockings since 1979 - only 28. The quality of these isn't up to scratch changed little over the years. They are still very clear, with illustrations and written instructions. Materials are a different story. The quality of sequins and beads has deteriorated. They scratch and fade. The ones I received with this stocking set look just as old as the ones I put on with my first stockings over 30 years ago. Black ink stains are also visible on a blue background. I'm sure most of them will be covered in felt, but this is the first time that I see that. I've just started embroidering a piece of red felt, almost as thin as chiffon. If I didn't do that much of it, I might have trouble finding the red pieces where they are on the stocking since the numbers identifying each piece are almost invisible. I am very disappointed in this product.
