Follow the instructions and the fan clutches will come off with little effort. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to use it at a very acute angle. 90 degrees or close is not great. Smaller angles work best. AND MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE STRAP BEFORE USING THIS. Also, do not use it to try to tighten the fan clutch. They tighten themselves with the engine running. Just turn it by hand and leave it that way. If you don't know which way to turn the fan clutch to loosen it, be aware that the resistance of the fan will cause the clutch to tighten itself.
