Review on 💼 Enhance Desk Organization with TAP-UP Cable Box: Efficient Desk Mounted Cord Management, No Drilling Required (White) by Sam Simone

This is a cable management system I didn't know I needed! I screwed some wire shelves under my desk to store my cables. I spend hours organizing and cleaning up cords, but since you can still see a lot of cords through the wire shelf when you look under the table, I've never been happy with my cord management. And then I saw this wire box that attaches to the edge of the table without screws! What a great idea! I have large surgical protectors so I had the wire shelves loosened due to the weight and I was plugging and unplugging things. I bought one of these boxes to test out as there were a lot of negative reviews about their design. This box was easy to assemble! There are instructions on the box, but they are self-explanatory. The fall is surprisingly strong. Plastic is not a thick piece of plastic. It is held together by snapping 2 other plastic pieces on the sides. I was afraid it would fall apart easily as many reviews do, but I'm happy to report that it doesn't! I'm sure if you stuff this box to the brim the front cover might pop off, but I stuffed it full of rather large and naughty wires and the cover stays closed! In fact, I sometimes find it difficult to open because the locking clips work well. I had to buy a single row surge protector to replace my large brick to fit in this box but it was worth it! I was impressed with its build and ability to organize and clean wires. The only problem I've noticed is that the pressure point of the clamp is centered in the middle of the box and isn't evenly distributed across the top, and when tightened you can see the bend in the box where the Clamp the box and the table holds . I fixed this by purchasing rubber non-slip furniture pads which I cut into strips and attached to a metal clip inside the box and between the top of the box and the bottom of the table. This helped hold the box more securely and reduced the flex on the top of the box that I saw when I tightened it really tight. Overall I am very happy with this product and impressed with its ability to organize and hide cords!
