I've only been using it for about a month but so far the MacBook Pro 13 charges very well. It doesn't heat up and the rubber base keeps it secure on the table. It comes with double-sided tape to securely attach to the top or bottom of your desk. I haven't pushed it to the limit with charging all ports yet, but it seems like a good choice for college students or even the desktop. It's all USB now, and you don't even need an Apple power bank. So far, so good. I wish I had bought another one during the sale.
