I've only been using it for about a month but so far the MacBook Pro 13 charges very well. It doesn't heat up and the rubber base keeps it secure on the table. It comes with double-sided tape to securely attach to the top or bottom of your desk. I haven't pushed it to the limit with charging all ports yet, but it seems like a good choice for college students or even the desktop. It's all USB now, and you don't even need an Apple power bank. I bought this product to replace the previous version which only had a USB-C port. I use it as an overnight charger for my devices (USB-C, Lightning, Micro-USB and USB-A). This version has a serious bug for me. Connecting ONLY a CABLE (not even a device) to the 18W USB-C port will turn off the 45W USB-C port (up to 18W I think). Bought two of these items, one for my daughter and one for me. I heard rave reviews about Anker, so I decided to give it a try. In a nutshell. I had to send one back for a replacement after a few weeks or after use and I'm sending the other back on January 25, 2021 for a full refund. This little charger is perfect when you need enough ports to charge your phone or iPad. It measures 3" x 3" x 1/4" and is a bit heavier than I thought it would be. Updated, still 5 stars. Now that I bought a USB-C to USB-C cable, I was able to test the USB-C charging ports. Both work well with my Samsung Chromebook, but my Samsung A71 5G phone stops charging after 1-3 seconds despite charging just fine via USB-A ports. Not 100% sure but I think the phone doesn't work with high power chargers, although it does work with a Samsung Chromebook charger.
