The coasters look as great as online, so an A+ for looks and accuracy. However, from a functional point of view, there are a few key points that really detract from the main purpose of this product: 1. Does not soak up or absorb water. This will of course prevent most of the condensation from getting onto the table, but the water itself will just pool on the stand and eventually spill. I have to lift the stand up and "tap" out of the water to get the water out of the stand. Silly! 2. The stand will stick to the bottom of the cup when you pick up the cup. It's quite annoying to either have to hold onto it with your other hand or end up picking up the stand where it fell. And if it falls, it will splash the water that has already accumulated on the stand, which may soak your table and/or floor anyway. Overall I would not recommend this product unless it is for display purposes only as the design is quite nice. I think I will choose cork or rubber coasters to replace them.
