I bought these because my kids don't use their electric toothbrushes - they say it hurts their gums. I've used a number of different Oral B heads and they've all been pretty stiff. I bought these because I wanted something softer and gentler on my gums. For this purpose they are ideal. These bristles are much softer than Braun's. My children no longer complain about brushing their teeth. I've also used them and like them better, although I've never had much trouble with the original heads. However, they really do what they say. A few points: 1. All bristles are the same length, and there are a lot of them. All official Oral B heads have bristles of different lengths, they are smaller and stiffer. I can't really comment on that, good or bad, but it's something to be aware of. In fact, I'm a little concerned that maybe Brown knows something I don't, like maybe even those soft bristles don't work? They work with the Oral B toothbrush but don't fit perfectly. They're a little looser when you remove them. This doesn't seem to affect functionality, but if you're used to a well-known brand, you'll find that they are different. Overall a great product. If I buy a replacement I will buy this product again.
