I bought this battery meter because of the performance I needed and the reasonable price. I connected it to a 100Ah lithium iron phosphate battery in my van. It works well. If you intend to use this meter to monitor lithium iron phosphate batteries, here are two tips for your reference: 1. The battery level indicator in this meter is based on the measured voltage. It is not suitable for measuring the remaining capacity of a lithium-iron battery, since a lithium-iron battery has a fairly constant voltage during most of the discharge. But this meter will work reasonably if you set the voltage range correctly. In my case I set 13.7V for a fully charged battery and 12.7V for a fully discharged one (it could be lower, but set this value to prevent the battery from discharging).2. If you connect the negative charge lead to the load side of the shunt, the meter will show the charge current, although the meter will not tell you the direction of the electric current. This is a good DIY gauge with a reasonable price rather than spending a hundred dollars or more.
