Don't waste your money. The disc was absolute junk. I installed it, put the DVD in and it sounded like a horrible plastic crunch and squeal. The disc is stuck, I couldn't eject it. The disc came back clicking and clicking non-stop. I had to disassemble the entire laptop again, remove the drive. Then disassemble the drive to pull out my DVD. When I disassembled the drive I found that it was clearly a used and refurbished (not very good) drive. The sticker says 2019. Apparently not. All internal components were badly worn, with visible gouges and wear marks. He was in a very bad state internally. Currently being returned for exchange. I'll see how the second one goes, but I don't really believe it. Don't buy, read all reviews. I read them before ordering and still decided to give it a try. It was the wrong choice. Save your money and get it elsewhere.
