GREAT if you don't mind the light! UPDATE 4 years later.

* GENERAL: The smell in the room is like that of a medical facility because it keeps the air so clean and greatly reduces the number of sinus infections I get.* Noise: Can get louder at level 4+ , but that's because it sucks in and pushes out a lot of air. At 2 or less, it's quiet enough to watch TV nearby and still hear it. At level 3 you can increase the volume of the TV a bit. For room calls, a fan speed of 3+ isn't good.* Ionizer: The ionizer can be turned off by holding down the bottom blue star button, which I always leave off. Since the mere presence of an ionizer and plasma technology can release ozone even when not in use, I want to remove it. Ozone means the particles are larger, heavier and easier to stick to the inside of your lungs. This causes lung irritation and keeps irritants in the lungs safer and longer. In general you don't want to breathe ozone unless you have breathing problems and if you suffer from lung sensitivity, allergies, asthma, COPD etc. you really want to avoid it completely. tall, about 2.5 feet tall, and the air intake is on the sides. * BACKLIGHT PROBLEM: I wish the light that illuminates the keys could be turned off at night as the light keeps me awake (blue light). I covered it with some kind of cloth that covers the import and export opening a bit. AERAMAX, PLEASE offer the option to turn off all lights. The light comes from the keys and also shines through the air intakes on the sides of the device into a darkened room. Any light interferes with melatonin production, and blue light is the worst suspect. After more than a year of 24/7 use, I'm buying a different brand of air purifier just to alleviate this problem of dealing with the light coming from the car. * Weight: heavy. It's not something you want to move from room to room. It has a carry handle if needed, but you should leave it where you left it. Because it's wide, narrow, tall and therefore wobbly, you don't want to attach wheels or put it on a wheelbase to reduce weight when moving. * Filters: Activated carbon filters need to be replaced twice as often. like HEPA filters. * Aesthetics: I would like the black areas of the device to be white for a sleeker and more modern look as it looks more like a 1990's space capsule with its shape and contrasting black and white. Something about Nintendo and ET comes to mind.* Structural Design: I like that the vent that blows clean air is on the top and can be tilted and oriented wherever you want. You can blow directly in your face when you have sinus pain and/or breathe clean air while working on the computer or watching TV.* Durability/Quality: 100%. I've been using this unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at fan speed 3 for over a year and it's still working. It has gone through 3 HEPA filter changes and 4 activated carbon filter changes, which are not always changed on time ;) UPDATE: After 4 years and 4 months of 24/7 use at fan level 3, this air purifier is LIVED. There are no problems with it and it works great. + for quality! I tried covering the headlights with black tape. This means that every time I move it to a different room and turn it back on, I have to lift the tape on the bottom and press the ionizing lamp to turn the ionizer off, and then press the tape again, pressing on it must be careful not to activate others. Keys. The light from the other backlit keys is easily visible from the sides where the intake vents are located. I have no complaints about this item other than the light. It could also be quieter, to be precise, but the required CFM for an air purifier to operate well requires it to move a lot of air, which creates noise.
