This was an unsuccessful attempt to find a cheap replacement for a quality leather money clip. I have worn a total of three leather money clips in the last forty years. I can do this by buying plain high quality leather clips and never buying the designer's name. When my last clip died I decided to buy something less expensive while looking for a leather shop that made quality money clips and wallets. The color started to fade around the edges and tips of the (brown) handbag when I put it on for the first time. . When I wore it for a week, the front of the wallet around the ID was almost yellow. The outlines of the cards were visible on the back and the paint was worn away like a wall. The seams were good. The wallet looked more like plastic than leather. and met my needs.
