This thing is over my head since I'm a beginner. The more I use it, the more I understand what it can do and how to make it do it. I think it was a good choice and would recommend it if the specs and features suit your needs. Please investigate. There are countless measuring devices with many options. Find out what to expect from the counter before you pull the trigger. You will not regret it.
