Review on Cashel Crusader Horse Fly Guards by Heather Oliver

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor fit and tears easily

I love Cashel's fly masks and was very disappointed in these boots. After a month of use (my horse goes out by himself) 3 out of 4 boots fall completely apart (see photo). There are huge tears in several seams of the boots, especially where the Velcro attaches. This photo was taken after she had worn them for about ten minutes - they slumped almost immediately after putting them on - I am horse size and she is a 16.1hh purebred with medium sized legs and they are huge which doesn't help the situation . . My last pair of Kensington lasted over a year while the band played the big field before showing even the slightest sign of wear, so I'm going back to them even though these Cashel boots look a lot nicer to begin with.

Pros
  • Robust workmanship
Cons
  • The list would be long.
