A good pump for the price. I left the first one for about 4 hours at full pressure with the hose closed. My pump does not have a pressure regulator. This led to heat build-up and stresses that caused the plastic internals to fail. Replacement parts cost around $20 but are very hard to come by and look like they are only available in the UK. I ordered a replacement and it works great. We use it to clean dog kennels with great success. It is connected to the house plumbing at about 40psi. And increases the pressure significantly. This reduces cleaning time by 60% or more. And of course I'm very careful not to overload the internals. 4 stars because the internal components are VERY light. They seem fine for light use. such as pumping clear water at low pressure and spraying low pressure from ponds and holding tanks at 30-40psi.
