I've run 50 marathons in the last ten years. I use the run/walk method popularized by Galloway. I prefer to carry water. The Amphipod Bottle is ergonomically designed for easy portability. Your hand will slip off the lid, so you have to grip it tightly. The large opening is particularly advantageous. When I need to refill water at the water point, I can open it by going upstairs and just fill it up. I take it with me on all my training rides. That's great.
