The mesh openings are slightly wider than the Red Heart brand and the scarf is less ruffled and not as pretty in my opinion. However, the overall quality of the yarn was good and because the holes were wider it knitted faster. This can be a good yarn for a child who wants to knit a scarf as it's quicker and the holes are wider and a bit easier to work with. It's also worth noting that the main color of my scarf is orange and brown. There is almost no pink at all in the picture, and there is little blue and green. I know the colors can vary a lot, but I only notice that on my particular strand. I didn't give a damn about the color of the finished product, but that's personal preference. All in all I will not buy this brand again.
