SOME FREE TIPS: Hair Dye

Okay ok I have a Cosmo license and I've spent most of my life looking for the best value for my hair color. I'm blessed with the most versatile natural hair color, platinum blonde (I was blonde as a kid). The only problem? I HATE my natural hair color, it washes me out A LOT. I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars trying everything from lime green to black to different balayages and it's all been fine, but after years of searching I've found that natural ginger looks best on me. The only problem? The natural look of ginger at home is INCREDIBLY difficult to achieve and maintain. So here I share my secrets. This Adore Ginger is an absolute choice. It's a great base - it's a little redder than natural ginger, [photo #1], but it fades quickly after about 3 washes (red has the largest color molecules and is the quickest to leave pores in your hair - ProTip.) Once this will Red fades out leaving this AMAZING color that looks ALMOST natural. NEARLY. From about 3 feet away, it looks like you were born with it. A little closer and you start to notice a green tint that is NOT that natural. [Image #2] So, to get rid of the greenish undertones and give you that extra appeal you need for that totally natural look, combine ADORE GINGER with HENNA Natural Color (that's right). I highly recommend The Henna Guy's orange/red dye (it's available on Amazon for around $15 a pack, you'll get around 4-8 dyes depending on your hair length) - it will help your roots grow natural look red. Mix with your ADORE base. Apply henna to all hair every 2-3 weeks to refresh color, eliminate greenish tint and keep SILKY soft and natural look. Henna smells awful, especially compared to ADORE's amazing smell, but TRUST ME ON THIS ONE. [Image #3] I've been using this technique for over 2 years and every week I get asked "this is my natural hair". The fresh color between the two is AMAZING and not only does the fading ALWAYS last with this combination, it even looks EVEN more natural over time. The henna washes out well after ADORE and if you take turns using it not only will you have GORGEOUS natural ginger for as long as you like, but the money you save on a salon pass is worth it in itself. I'm always willing to help clients learn things on their own as everyone's tastes are different and your vision on color may differ from your stylist's. Also, we're in a pandemic and no one wants to spend more than $100 on a maintenance color like ginger. I have tried this with many other dyes, products and brands but the only acceptable base is ADORE. Ginger - I will never stop using this line of products and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants rich color with minimal damage. 10/10 SECURE.
