It was extremely difficult for me to open the glue through the protective strip. There may be some dark magic involved, but I certainly couldn't have ripped the strip off without the help of a pair of tweezers. If I had to install more than 10 feet I would return this stuff. Also, my 10ft order came in two 5ft strips. Not ideal for my application. This left a gap in the middle of the section where I wanted to completely block the air. I did not see in the product description that if you order 10ft you will receive two strips of 5ft. This also meant that the strip had to be peeled off twice (see above). The adhesive is strong and it's a good dense closed cell foam.
