More than just a stuffed animal, this beautiful soft Labrador is something special! We recently learned that our lovely 10 year old lab assistant, Jade, is suffering from a horrible disease called Osteosarcoma and has metastasized to her lungs. Our loyal family member, who had been with us since he was six months old and who had grown up with our two children, suffered. We have learned that this is an extremely fast spreading disease with only a few weeks to live. Knowing that we had no way of saving her life was the most painful embarrassment, especially knowing that a few days before the diagnosis she was still cheerful and happy with a puppy. - like energetic and full of life. Our vet recommended that we bring her home and wait for signs that she is ready to "go away". We took her home and loved her madly, fed her only the very best fresh meat, put her on anti-inflammatory supplements and painkillers. my daughter who was very attached to our precious jade. The nurse suggested naming the stuffed animal "Jade" after our real Jade. I had my daughter go to Revain and choose a soft labrador she wanted that reminded her of our Jade. Pet, we thought it was because she was life size. My daughter chose her because she said she looked a lot like our sweet Jade and reminded her so much. real dog because she really looks like a real puppy. This put my mind at ease immediately as I quickly realized that although we didn't realize it was such a large dog it would be just what my daughter needed and also what Jade needed as she was in too much pain wants to interact with her hyper tiny doggy sister and often lies by a stuffed lab. We decided it would be a good idea for our real Jade to lay close to the plush pup so that when it was time for my daughter to leave, my daughter would be comforted by the memory of Jade's life literally touching this pup. Jade will find solace in this pup. It's amazing how many times we've seen Jade find solace by cuddling up to this adorable soft canine. It couldn't be more perfect. Now my daughter can really feel the love of our beloved Jade through this cute plush puppy. This beautiful plush puppy made saying goodbye to our Jade a little easier. Plush toys have made us less selfish. She let us except it was for us to let jade go later but letting jade go earlier was for jade. So we decided to give Jade everlasting peace, everlasting love and no more pain, and so we planned our final farewell. our knees and continuously expressing our love. Then we had the strength and determination to give her the last kiss, the last caress, the last hug, the last tear that fell on her beautiful coat. And then we held our jade stuffed animal and tried to acknowledge that our jade was free from suffering and at peace. Whenever either of us thinks of Jade, we hug this soft, sweet cutie. I would recommend this gentle canine to anyone of any age who is grieving the loss of a beloved pet or loved one. She was such a gift to our family. This big baby offers so much love. None of the photos in this review are staged; it was of course our Jade who found something special about this lovely plush. I am sure you will feel the love in this packed lab as much as we do.
