Review on 🐢 Enhance Dog Training Efficiency with the Dogtra iQ Plus Rechargeable Waterproof Remote E-Collar by Scott Welch

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pros: -Holds a charge well and charges quickly -Compact.

Well it just stopped working after a year and had to be replaced. It does not begin. Has worked decently well for the time I've had it and of course the 1 year warranty has expired. Good: - Holds a decent charge and charges quickly - Compact remote control is good, not bulky - Overall performance seems pretty good You NEED to use longer contact lenses! I often had to tighten the collar too tightly so she wouldn't feel the stimulation. So this is my bad part. The range is decent, but 400 meters in ideal conditions, you'll know that when you buy one of these. If you think you need more range, check out other models. The dial is very easy to move! This is my biggest complaint about this item. You can't set and forget. I developed a habit of keeping my thumb on 0 all the time and only moving it when I needed to stimulate it. It moves from 0 to 100 on its own when hanging in your pocket, hand, or on your belt. This greatly reduces the importance of timely corrections, since the stimulation strength must be constantly checked. The 1-2 dog selector also moves too easily. Many times I had to make an adjustment and the switch was on the wrong number and the learning opportunity was lost. So functionally yes, it works (except now it doesn't!). So it works as long as it works. But the above, the ease of moving all the controls are big cons and I wouldn't buy another one. Now we come to the teacher.

Pros
  • Electronic Training Collars
Cons
  • A little change
