Nice, that's right. It holds a decent amount and seals beautifully - you can shake it and it won't leak. What I particularly dislike is that it has to be used during the day so the fruit doesn't spoil, there is no way to pull the fruit up and down. I usually put it in a different container and quickly realize that with fruit it actually contains very little liquid. I ended up liking the Contigo pitcher and Rubbermaid carafe for everyday use and large quantities. This is good if you only want about 1 1/2 servings of real fruit liquid and you want it to look pretty. It's also good if you're just making something like fruit-free lemonade, which makes for a more reasonable amount of liquid.
