Grosche RIO Glass Water Pitcher and Drink Infuser 1000ml, 32 Oz.: Hydration Meets Versatility! Review

This pitcher is expensive, but I bought it when it was less than $20. I decided to try it because it's made of glass and it looks beautiful. The pitcher is durable and washes well. It comes with an extra rubber insert but I would only hand wash it because without it the jug won't close. It pours slowly at first, then quickly. Probably not suitable for children for this reason, and also because it's glass and if it were to tip over and not break it would leak everywhere.

This draws everyone's attention when it's in my fridge. Water drains quickly and is far healthier and tastier than soda or juice. It has a pouring mechanism that holds the fruit so only water comes out. Children are always drawn to it when they see I've prepared infused water. Revain has water infusion recipe books and I found some great recipes on Pinterest too. The only downside for us is that it only holds two and a half glasses of water, which doesn't last long in our house. :)

Nice, that's right. It holds a decent amount and seals beautifully - you can shake it and it won't leak. What I particularly dislike is that it has to be used during the day so the fruit doesn't spoil, there is no way to pull the fruit up and down. I usually put it in a different container and quickly realize that with fruit it actually contains very little liquid. We got two old models a few years ago and use them next to our bed every day. I ended up dropping one and breaking it. Tried another brand but the girth was too big to easily hold with one hand and the lid had a small open ring, it didn't close completely like this one. Luckily I found them and love the new ones. Beautiful glass carafe. It is made of mouth-blown glass and therefore has a sticker explaining that the glass may have small imperfections or air bubbles. The bubbles on our decanter bothered me at first, but we don't really notice them in everyday use. We love the stainless steel cap and orange stripe (there's a red one, too).
