I bought these for my Ram 3500 DRW which I ride on the beach. Ventilation has always been a challenge, and ventilation has been just as challenging again. After reading the reviews I bought it anyway. Upon installation, I knew some people had issues with the mount detaching. I drilled a hole in the plastic cap for the screw to hold it in place. I also used a small amount of Loctite to keep the vibrations from loosening the bolts. I also check about once a week whether they are still tight. I've driven about 2000 miles since putting them on and everything seems fine. If you have alloy wheels or don't want to drill hubcaps I don't know if they will fit. As you can see from my photos, the screw almost reaches the bracket.
