This solved an issue I had with a 2002 Silverado where the mode would freeze on thaw. The part is easy to remove but difficult to install. If you remove the cam and ride, 2 levers will fall out that insert into the cam. These levers control the upper and lower air ducts. There was a link to You Tube in another review. In this video it said to leave the cam in place and pull the actuator. It wouldn't work for me as I couldn't separate the cam from the actuator on the new part. What worked for me was to install the gear arm first, then thread the bottom screw, then align and thread the top screw. After they start you can tighten them up a bit. Then pull the cam back to align the last lever and tighten. The left lever is on the extreme lane. The inner track is for the gear lever.
