So let me start by saying that I am severely allergic to dust mites. By severe I mean I suffer from allergic neurodermatitis (eczema) so my allergic reactions are visible and unfortunately localized on the face. Those of you who have dust mites know how inevitable it is and any relief is more than welcome. Well today I start my review and I will update it throughout the month. First review on day one: The product was packaged very neatly, with clear branding and very neat and clear instructions. The manual itself has a serial number printed on the back and I would recommend registering the product on the manufacturer's website prior to use. After taking the device out of its carefully wrapped box, I found no problems with the instructions as they were neatly laid out and had a page for each and every maintenance step. The plastic protection can be easily removed without using a cutting tool (plastic is very easy to tear without stressing the product). The instructions in this step will give you tips and tricks on how to properly glide the vacuum over the intended surface, be it a pillow, mattress, blanket, etc. I highly recommend them as they work well. Controlling the unit is incredibly easy with the push of a button and is up and running in seconds, heating to the correct sanitary temperature. After that, all you need to do is practice a little and you're done. As you can see here this is my cat's couch, she sits on it more than anyone else in the house and I initially wrongly assumed my allergy problem was her but it was the dust she was sitting on! I vacuumed the cushions on this sofa for about 5-8 minutes and while I was initially impressed with the unit's ability to capture visible dust and some stubborn pet hair, I was blown away when I removed and opened the dust box. As you can see from the photo, it has accumulated a huge amount of dust (much more than it looked!) in a very short time. I am absolutely blown away by this product and can't wait for the results after using it on my pillows and mattress. I am optimistic that this device will improve my health and quality of life. I will update this review with additional results in 1 week and also in 1 month. If this product continues to impress me, I'll probably try to get my hands on a Raycorps UV vacuum and also test it on my favorite forgotten dust mite breeding ground, RUGS. .Week 1 Review: So in my diligence I started using this on small area rugs, rugs and curtains. None of them were damaged by the device and all had a disgusting amount of dust mites and matter. I still maintain my 5/5 stars for past commercial performance. And now that I'm vacuuming my side of the bed every day, you'll be surprised at how much the average person loses! And I'm tired of being a walking buffet for these pests!
