When I purchased this Trustech 1500W heater I had a coupon for the less expensive Kismile patio heater so I bought them both. I'd intended on using this one in the room we used most as it was a bit more expensive but when I set them down side by side I noticed that it was a fair amount smaller and the other brand also had three settings: 500W 750W 1500W instead of just two, which I definitely like. The Trustech heater puts out a fair amount of heat, but after just a couple of uses, I noticed it got noisy on the lower setting. I needn't have worried though because after using it, on and off for about a week, the noise was present at both settings. The range for the remote is, a very disappointing, 8 inches, and that's when it works at all. In contrast, the range of the Kismile remote is approx 50 feet.Also when I unpacked the Trustech, I also noted an imperfection on the bulb, however, it doesn't seem to effect its operation.Both heaters came with identical mounting brackets and installation is simple, once you figure out how to do it - on your own. Unfortunately both heaters came with virtually useless assembly instructions.I've included photos of both unitsI returned it and purchased another Kismile brand heater.
