The back of the shoe fits higher on the back of the ankle which leads to chafing of the area. Otherwise, these are delightful bright and flexible shoes. I will be returning them to get the next size.I wear a 9.5 and the shoe (size 41 was so snug that my toes were tightly pressed against the toe box. The width of the shoes runs larger and is very comfortable
