Like most people, I've tried a few electric trimmers. Everyone knows that a battery never lasts long and small motors die sooner or later, so I ended up switching to this manual one. I noticed a few people were talking about not even being sure if it was actually a haircut. Is that so. You just don't hear the hair being cut like with an electric spin dryer with any number of revolutions per minute. I've also seen people mention that it doesn't seem to be as good as an electric trimmer. Here is the simple reality. This is not an electric trimmer. You can't roll it around your nostrils and be done in 5 seconds. This requires a little more time and more movement around the nostrils while clipping. But ultimately it works great, and barring the possibility of a broken spring, this thing is solidly built and a neat design element. It generally lasts longer than any battery powered electric trimmer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the spring mechanism can eventually wear out or break. But I will take it upon myself to buy another electric trimmer for a waste of money. In fact, if this one ever failed I would just buy another one. I will never go back to electric trimmers. Is this the product that comes in handy when you're in a hurry to get ready for work and you suddenly find you need to trim your nose hair? Probably no. But that aside, it might be best not to let your nose hair get to that point at all.
