Review on Nilight Driving Lights Tacoma Warranty by Scott Snyder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No complaints about fittings and lighting accessories

1. These things are not perfect. From the start I voided their BS warranty by removing the bezel and applying a drop of sealant to ensure it was water resistant. They do have a gasket around the lens, but it doesn't appear to be waterproof. I made a small injector and filled the strain relief on the back of the canopy with caulk. Now no water/moisture can penetrate into the light block. 2. If you do what I did, be very careful when removing and reinstalling hardware. The lightweight case's threads break fairly easily (it's all aluminum). I broke a screw in the flashlight body trying to remove it so I ordered another pair and will be using this flashlight for something else. The included mounting hardware was a bit small for my liking, so I used some 1/4x20 stainless steel fasteners to install it. 3. I use them for extra backup lights on my truck, the first one is bright enough. I used two and angled them to make it look more like a headlight when reversing. I also installed a switch so I can control them whenever I want and it works great. These lights were installed on the back of my truck a little over 3 months ago. I had no problems with them at all. The lenses are still clear, there is no flickering or anything like that. If I were to use them on the front of my truck as fog lights, I would prefer glass to the plastic or acrylic material the lenses are made of. For the price of these lamps I don't think you can beat them.
